IPL 2023 Final: ‘It Is The Greatest Win Of My Career’, CSK Star Batter After The Epic Win Against GT

In the final of the 2023 Indian Premier League, MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings won the tournament by beating Gujarat Titans by five wickets. The opening batter of CSK Devon Conway described the win in the IPL 2023 final against Gujarat Titans as the most highlighted victory of his entire career. The left-handed batter played a crucial role in the second half of the match ensuring that CSK remained competitive and had a chance to secure their fifth IPL championship.

After the revised target of 171, Devon Conway’s aggressive approach proved vital for Chennai Super Kings when Ruturaj Gaikwad struggled to find boundaries. Conway’s attacking cricket enabled CSK to reach a score of 52/0 during the four-over powerplay.

While talking after the match, Conway said,”It was a long time to wait, very nervous but Rutu (Gaikwad) and I plotted how we’ll go about it. Personally, is the greatest win in my career. IPL final doesn’t get bigger than that. Lot of credit to Mike Hussey, the fellow left-handed player. Nice to be in his shoes.”
