After the heartbreaking exit, every Indian fans are dispirited from Indian players, and thus, MS Dhoni is trending on Twitter. Many former players like Sunil Gavaskar and Gautam Gambhir came up with some criticizing comments, whereas Sachin Tendulkar tweeted it’s a heartbreaking loss.
“A coin has two sides, and so does life. If we celebrate our team’s success like our own then we should be able to take our team’s losses too… In life, they both go hand in hand. #INDvsENG” Sachin tweeted after the loss.
Looking at the loss, former Indian player and ICC 2007 T20 World Cup winning team member Gautam Gambhir showed up with an appraising comment of his time skipper MS Dhoni and criticized the men in blue.
“I don’t think any Indian captain would be able to win 3 ICC trophies like MS Dhoni,” said Gautam Gambhir.
The current India team have some senior players like Rohit Sharma and Dinesh Karthik, who have been playing since the T20 World Cup started. Legendary Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar stated that we might see some retirement in the upcoming days.
“There will be some retirements also coming through, you never know. This is not the time to think about it” said Sunil Gavaskar.
