In the shortest format, opener Rahul and captain Rohit Sharma struck 165 off 76 balls (13.02 run rate), which ranks as India’s third-fastest 100-plus century partnership.
In the high-scoring thriller at Guwahati, India’s standout batter Suryakumar scored the most runs for his team, hitting 61 off 22 balls. To assist India to reach 237-3 in 20 overs, former Indian captain Kohli continued to bat undefeated at 49 off 28 balls.
