India has announced the Squad for the 3-Match ODI series against South Africa starting on 6th October.
As the prominent member of team India going for T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, this Indian side will be led by Shikhar Dhawan. In the absence of Rohit Sharma, Dhawan did an amazing job during the India tour of West Indies.
Shreyas Iyer who is also in the Indian Squad for the T20 World Cup among reserves is assigned as the vice captain of the side.
This time the BCCI has surprised everyone and picked some new names such as Mukesh Kumar who plays for West Bengal. The new sensation of RCB Rajat Patidar and the man in form for SRH Rahul Tripathi have also been selected in the squad.
Talking about the fast bowlers, Deepak Chahar, Mohammed Siraj, Avesh Khan and Shardul Thakur will take the charge for India. Kuldeep Yadav, Ravi Bishnoi and Shahbaz Ahmed are the 3 prime spinners making their name to the Indian squad for the ODI series against South Africa.
