However, Rohit’s childhood Coach Dinesh Lad revealed that in his younger days, Rohit Sharma had a dream to buy a Mercedes car.
In an interview, Rohit’s childhood coach, Dinesh Lad, said, “Once Rohit and I saw a Mercedes car, he said, ‘Sir, I will buy this car one day.’ It was the time when Rohit was selected for Mumbai’s Under-19 team. Was that possible? He had not played at any level back then and said that he wanted to buy a Mercedes. But he confidently said, ‘You see, I will buy it’.”
