India will play its super four match of Asia Cup 2023 against Pakistan cricket team. Now India will be finding a way to counter the formidable trio of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Haris Rauf.
The two teams will face each other at Colombo’s R Premadasa Stadium on Sunday, September 10th. Pakistan comes into the match with confidence after their strong seven-wicket victory against Bangladesh in their initial Super Four encounter at home. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma and his team will be kicking off their campaign in the tournament’s second phase with this match.
While talking on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra said, “The Premadasa Stadium generally has a decent pitch. You will get a slightly sticky pitch everywhere here, you don’t get very flat pitches, unlike the ones you get at times in India, and Lahore, Multan, and Karachi.”
The former Indian opener said, “There is something in it for the bowlers which makes it very interesting because the Indian team’s biggest challenge will be – how will they overcome the threat of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Haris Rauf? This question is looming large once again.”
