Indian all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja’s name was on the discussion table between the franchises since last year. After all the anticipation has come to an end as Dhoni has suggested that Jadeja will stay with CSK only.
In the IPL 2022, he left the IPL camp of Chennai super kings after he was diagnosed with a rib injury and then he deleted all his social media posts related to CSK which spread a furious note in the IPL cricket fraternity. Every IPL franchise has to submit the list of retained players before November 15th. But it seems that CSK management is not going to leave the Indian star all-rounder in the upcoming session of IPL. The name of Axar Patel is also on the trend, but the management of CSK thinks Jadeja’s ability is far better than his. CSK skipper, MS Dhoni had made it clear that Jadeja cannot be released from CSK, and no other player can replace Jadeja’s place in the team, especially in the home game of CSK at Chennai.
Currently, Ravindra Jadeja has been recovering from a knee injury, that’s why he hasn’t gotten a place in the T20 World Cup squad. However, he has been selected in the upcoming ODI series against Bangladesh. It will be interesting to see how 32 year’s old Indian all-rounder will perform after the long break.
The rules of the IPL haven’t changed since it started and it is stated that only a player must leave the franchise when both franchises mutually agree to his departure. And CSK is not in the mood to leave the jadeja, hence he hasn’t any option left but to stay with CSK.

Ravindra Jadeja was 16 cr pick for the CSK and if he left them then it would open a big auction price for him. Every franchise will try their best to pick him in the squad because currently he is one of the best all-rounders in world cricket. But CSK is looking to continue with the same all-rounder in the next IPL rather than investing in some other player.
News coming from the CSK management that they will likely release Adam Milne and Chris Jordan from the IPL 2023.
