‘He Is Better Than Ben Stokes’, Aakash Chopra Names The Best All-rounder in Test Cricket

Former Indian opener Aakash Chopra has given a huge statement in favour of star Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. He said that Jadeja is the best all-rounder than England’s captain Ben Stokes when it comes to Test Cricket. The commentator said that Stokes is not bowling much as he is suffering from injury.

In the realm of Test cricket today, both Jadeja and Stokes stand out as prominent all-rounders. Jadeja has accumulated 2804 runs and taken 275 wickets in 67 matches. On other hand, Stokes has played in 97 Test matches and gathered 6117 runs and 197 wickets to his name.

While talking to his youtube channel, Aakash Chopra marked Jadeja as the best all-rounder than Ben Stokes.

He said,”Ravindra Jadeja presents a wonderful package. He bats at number seven and guarantees you 10 overs with the ball [in one-day cricket]. In Tests, he is not only India’s but the world’s best all-rounder, better than Ben Stokes because Stokes doesn’t bowl. Jadeja wins you games match after match. He is an unsung hero and definitely the best all-rounder in red ball cricket.”

Ravindra Jadeja played a pivotal role in India’s journey to the runner-up position in the 2021-23 World Test Championship (WTC) cycle. Over the course of 13 Tests during this period, he secured 47 wickets at an impressive average of 23.68.
