“He is a….”Kagiso Rabada’s massive praise for Sandeep lamichhane ahead of the Nepal clash

Kagiso Rabada mentioned that he is cautious about the danger Sandeep Lamichhane might present to the South African batters. On Saturday, June 15, South Africa will compete against Nepal in their final Group match at the Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown, St Vincent. Lamichhane didn’t participate in the games in the United States because he was not granted a visa to enter the country.

The 23-year-old Lamichhane came to the West Indies hoping to play for Nepal in their final two group games. Rabada called him a ‘mystery spinner’ and mentioned that the South African team might have a hard time playing against him.

“Yes, he’s a mystery spinner, and any mystery spinner can be difficult to play against. But I know the guys are excited to take on that challenge,” Rabada said during the press conference before the match.

South Africa has already advanced to the Super 12 stage by winning all their three games against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Netherlands. Despite this, Rabada chose not to take opponents lightly.

“Yes, it’s another international game, another scheduled match, and we’re not underestimating our opponents. We’re going to try to play the same good cricket, or even better, that we’ve been playing in this tournament,” Rabada explained.

Rabada is also hoping to bowl on pitches that offer a fair challenge after bowling on surfaces that favor bowlers in New York.

“As a bowler, I must admit, I’ve really enjoyed it, absolutely. But now, the playing conditions will likely become more balanced,” Rabada mentioned.

Rabada has picked up 4 wickets in 3 matches during the current World Cup, with an economy rate of 5.58. Together with Anrich Nortje, they have been causing a lot of problems for the opposing batters with their fast pace and precision.
