Harnessing The Guru’s Spirit: Australia’s Greats Inspire England For 4th Test vs India

Team India took a 2-1 lead in the ongoing five-match test series against England as the hosts defeated the visitors by a margin of 434 runs in the third test match of the series.

However, ahead of the fourth match of the series, which is set to be played in Ranchi, one of the greatest openers of the game, Mathew Hayden gave a prediction that the series would be won by the hosts.

Speaking of the series, Hayden said that it’s going to be won by the Indian team because it’s quite difficult to beat India in their home stadium as a touring team because it requires a lot of energy and conservation of resources, which is very limited.

Hayden also advised the England team to have a mindset like a ‘guru’ in order to get through the challenging and tough conditions while playing in India.

Hayden said that England, as we have seen in the series, starts up the matches with great intensity but is not able to sustain the momentum because of their relentless nature to turn up every moment and in every session.
