Hardik Pandya Or Ben Stokes? Lance Klusener Names The Best All-rounder In Modern Day Cricket

Since his debut, Indian star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been the prominent match-winner for India. Pandya who made his international debut for India in 2016 has made his place in the team’s playing XI.

On the other hand, there is England’s Ben Stokes who is currently leading the test side of his nation and is now being considered great. Unlike Hardik Pandya, Ben Stokes is not only saturated with ODI and T20Is but has also contributed to England’s many memorable test wins.

Recently South African veteran all-rounder Lance Klusener has expressed his views on being the complete all-rounder between Hardik Pandya and Bens Stokes. He claimed that the England star is the most promising all-rounder in world cricket at present. While talking to Hindustan Times Klusener said, “I think Stokes is a little bit more complete than a guy like Pandya. But he’s learning all the time. In the last two-three years, the strides that Pandya has taken in international cricket are awesome. I don’t think he’s quite the finished product yet. The sooner he gets to that (stage) where he’s completing all his overs all the time, I think we can definitely put him in the same bracket as all great all-rounders. He is up there but not quite at the top now.”

The former South African pointed out that bowling is one such area where Hardik Pandya still needs improvement. He stated, “It’s a good question. I think the questions around Pandya are not too much on his batting. It is about his bowling. Can he consistently bowl his full quota in all forms of the game? His batting is right up there with the best in the world.”
