Fans Troll David Warner For Commenting On Kohli-Anushka Post, Virat Comes In Rescue For Aussie

Recently the star batter of Team India Virat Kohli posted a picture on his Instagram with his wife Anushka Sharma. After a few minutes of posting Australian star opener, David Warner commented on the photo by writing “Lucky Man, Mate”.

However, this simple appreciation by Warner got miss understood by the fans and some of them took it to another level. A set of fans wrote that Warner should clarify his remarks to which the Australian opener said – “We are very lucky to have supportive wives,” while to another, he replied: “It’s a saying we use in Australia like I would say I’m lucky to have Candice Warner. So, when we say to others, we say “You’re lucky, mate” or “You’re blessed, mate”. Interpretation is always going to be different.”

After his explanation, David Warner got support from many fans but few kept questioning the Aussie. Ultimately, Virat Kohli himself came and replied that shut down all the trolls. The Indian batter replied, “I know, Mate.”

After the continuous inclusion in IPL David Warner gained huge popularity among Indian fans. The cherry on the cake was his reels and videos which he used to make on Indian songs replicating himself as Indian Superstars such as Shah Rukh Khan and Allu Arjun. Once, Kohli also came with a quirky reply when Warner posted a video dancing on Allu Arjun’s song. Commenting on that video, Kohli wrote, “Mate, Are You Ok?”
