The all-rounder suffered a hamstring injury on the fourth day of the first test match after he was run out by England’s skipper, Ben Stokes.
Jadeja and India’s wicketkeeper, Batsman, were not included in the playing 11 for the second test match against England, which India won by 106 runs.
Both of these players were under the supervision of BCCI’s medical team as they continued their rehabilitation from the injury.
After their recovery, both of them were drafted into India’s squad for the upcoming three test matches. While it is certain that Ravindra Jadeja is going to make the playing 11 for India in the third test match, his partner KL Rahul has been ruled out of the third test against England.
