Big Update: Virat Kohli To End His 8-Year-Old Contract

Team India’s star batter, Virat Kohli, is once again making the news. The batter has been out of action for quite some time now. Virat Kohli informed BCCI that he is unavailable for the first two test matches against England, citing personal reasons.

The squad for the last three matches is yet to be announced; however, speculations have started about Virat missing the entire series. However, Virat Kohli was among the news headlines because of his off-the-field activities.

A report said that the star Indian batter was on the verge of terminating his eight-year-long partnership with Puma India. The report further revealed that Virat Kohli’s association with Puma began with a deal worth a whopping 110 crore way back in 2017.

The report further
suggested that Virat Kohli may become the face of Agilitas Sports Pvt. Ltd., one of the brands in sports footwear manufacturing. Although both Puma and Agilitas reached out for official confirmation, a copy of the statement was later updated.

Karthik Balagopalan, managing director of Puma India, was quoted as saying that Virat Kohli’s relationship with Puma is long-standing and will continue.

On the other hand, Virat Kohli is not taking a break from international cricket as he was not available for selection in the first two test matches against England. However, reports further suggest that the star Indian batter is going to miss the entire series, citing personal reasons.
