Big Breaking: Ravindra Jadeja Found Breaching The Spirit Of Game, ICC Implies A Huge Penalty

Although India looks to have the upper hand in the ongoing 1st test against Australia in Nagpur, the news regarding one of the team’s star players is not coming well.

In the first Test match against Australia in Nagpur, India’s star all-rounder breached Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct and was charged 25% of his match fee.

It was found that Ravindra Jadeja had violated Article 2.20 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel. Such action destroys the harmony of the game and goes the opposite of the spirit of cricket.

Jadeja’s performance record has also been updated with one demerit point. This was his first offense in the past 24 months.

On Thursday, February 9, during the 46th over of Australia’s first innings, Jadeja was spotted rubbing his index finger with a cream. The left-arm spinner was seen in the video taking something out of Mohammed Siraj’s hand and applying it to his left hand’s index finger.

However, the former Indian cricketers and the Indian Cricket management defended him while stating some swelling in his finger and that’s why Jadeja was seen using that cream from Siraj.
