The Australian Cricket Team has got a setback before the T20I series against team India. The team’s star bowlers Mitchell Starc, All-rounder Marcus Stoinis, and Mitchell Marsh have been ruled out from the team due to an injury.
Australia has named the squad for the T20I series against India and T20 World Cup 2022 which will be hosted by Australia only.
According to the reports, Mitchell Starc is recovering from his Knee Injury on the other hand Stonis and Marsh have got ankle injury which has put them out of the T20I series against Team India. The source close to the development also claimed that the trio will get fit before the much anticipated T20 World Cup.
Cricket Australia has already announced the replacement for their injured Players. Nathan Ellis has been roped in for Mitchell Starc, Daniel Sams has been picked for Mitchell Marsh and Sean Abbott is in for Sean Abbott.
Since Marcus Stoinis is injured, the new T20 sensation from Australia Tim David might play for the country for the 1st time.
Last year in 2021, Australia won the T20 World Cup for the first time under the captaincy of Aaron Finch. This year the team will look to defend the title and get there to become the champion.
