The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022 is going on, and some domestic players are showing their master-class performances. This time Indian legend’s son came into the limelight after a memorable performance in SMAT.
Arjun Tendulkar showed a killer bowling performance in Jaipur, playing against Hyderabad. He took four wickets for 10 runs in four overs of his quota, which included a maiden over. This was Arjun Tendulkar’s best performance in T20 cricket. Earlier, Arjun Tendulkar had switched from Mumbai to Goa.
During this impressive bowling performance, Arjun dismissed four top-order batters of Hyderabad. Arjun opened the bowling for Goa and sent Prateek Reddy in the third over to the pavilion. Left-arm Arjun returned to bowling in the death overs, where he hunted down dangerous Tilak Verma, Rahul Buddhi, and Ravi Teja. However, despite that Arjun’s brilliant performance, Hyderabad’s team managed to score 177 runs for six wickets.
This was Arjun’s third match in the current season of the Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In the first match, Arjun spent 20 runs playing against Tripura, but he didn’t get any wickets. Then in the second match against Manipur, Arjun once again spent 20 runs, and also dismissed two players during this match. Arjun has taken 8 wickets in all five T20 matches.

Arjun Tendulkar recently took training from Yograj Singh, father of veteran all-rounder Yuvraj Singh. This training took place at the Cricket Academy of DAV College.
Now the question arises when this young pacer will get the chance to play in the national team. He is performing very impressive and might get a chance to play the IPL 2023 with a franchise other than Mumbai Indians.
