England faced another visa issue when their young leggie, Rehan Ahmed, was intercepted by the airport authorities in Rajkot from entering the place as the young spinner flew back to Dubai.
As per the speculations, the young-leg spinner did not have the paperwork that was required, and so he was intercepted by the airport authorities.
According to the latest buzz, the young English star had a single-entry visa, which led to the consequences while the rest of his teammates were allowed to check out.
Well, this is not the first time the England team has faced visa-related issues while entering India.
England’s new potential spin weapon, Shoaib Bashir, also faced a visa issue, due to which he was not available for selection for the first test match against India, which was played in Hyderabad.
Apart from Shoaib Bashir,
England’s pace bowler Ollie Robinson was saved from this sort of trouble as he received his visa just in time when England was about to take their flight from Abu Dhabi to Hyderabad.
Rehan Ahmed’s teammate Ollie Robinson said that “there might be an error at Ecb, where they would have put the initials wrong because of which the visa was not passed. He was like, No, you are not allowed to come to India; you have to stay here for some more time.”
