Team India is all set to face England for the third time in a five-match test series. After winning the second test against England by a huge margin of 106 runs, both teams head towards Rajkot for the third match of the series.
Ahead of the third test match between the two teams, the Saurashtra Cricket Association is making plans to facilitate two of the greats of the Indian test teams, Veteran Cheteshwar Pujara and Ravindra Jadeja, at the venue.
While the star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is part of the current Indian test set-up, Pujara has not been given a chance in the test series against England, irrespective of his prolific run in the ongoing Ranji Trophy season.
As there has been talk of the potential comeback of veteran batsman Cheteshwar Pujara to the set-up, Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin also had expectations from Cheteshwar Pujara, but for some other reason.
As everyone knows, Saurashtra is Pujara’s home, so Ashwin is keen if Pujara invites the Indian team for dinner at his residence.
Ashwin, on his YouTube channel, said that Rajkot is the home of one of the greatest test batters in Indian history, Cheteshwar Pujara, who has recently played 100 test matches for India. So it’s interesting to see if Pujara invites the Indian team for dinner at his residence.
Pujara invited the Indian team for dinner at his house way back in 2016, when he was one of the regular features of the Indian test set-up.
