Team India’s famous victory over the visiting England team in Rajkot by 434 runs has been the talk of the town. With this victory in Rajkot, Rohit Sharma and his men take a 2-1 lead in the ongoing five-match series.
Out of the many heroes for Team India in their famous victory in Rajkot over England, one of them is Yashasvi Jaiswal. The stylish left-handed opener scored the second double hundred of his career and the second against England by scoring a magnificent 214, which included 14 boundaries and 12 maximums.
The left-hander also now holds the record for most sixes by an Indian in test matches. However, after the match, England’s opener, Ben Ducket, made a surprising comment by saying that Jaiswal has been playing aggressive cricket because of England’s Bazball style of play.
Duckett also lauded that Jaiswal is the superstar of the future and is in quite good form now, but he is due for a couple of low scores.
After this comment from Ducket, former England’s skipper Nasir Hossain gave a befitting reply to the opener, saying, “He has not learned from you; he has learned from his upbringing, and all the hard work that he had to put in while growing up, he has learned from the IPL. If anything needs to be learned, I would look at him and learn from him.”.
Jaiswal has been playing an aggressive brand of cricket throughout the series, playing conventional but attacking shots. Yashasvi Jaiswal has scored 545 runs in six innings at an astonishing average of 109.
Team India will take on England in Ranchi for the fourth test match of the series, starting on February 23.
