“Wouldn’t call myself…” Rachin Ravindra gives a huge Statement after his impressive Show against RCB

CSK’s opener, Rachin Ravindra, believes that he has not become a star yet.

Rachin Ravindra had an impressive debut against Royal Challengers Bangaluru for the Chennai Super Kings. The southpaw scored 37 of just 15 deliveries, which included three boundaries and three maximums.

Speaking after the win, Rachin Ravindra believes that he would not still call himself a star. Rachin added that he finds it quite simple to get himself transitioned from test matches to the T-20 format. The southpaw was picked at 1.80 crore in the auction by CSK.

Rachin Ravindra said, “I think it was a pretty complete performance by us. Obviously, the wicket was a good one, and we sort of held our nerve. It helped having the guys sort of finish the innings and bat with guys like Rahane and Ruturaj, who have very calm heads. So, allow me to kind of play my game.”

Ravindra further added, “I wouldn’t call myself a star just yet. Luckily, we had four or five days of good training to get into it, and it’s just an intent thing as well. I find it easier, probably going from red ball to white ball, because your positions are quite similar, and it’s just about trying to bring that calming presence, trying to slow the game down. Something that I think this team is very good at doing and such great senior guys in the change room to learn from.”
