The captain of Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma has commented on the possibility of MS Dhoni playing his last season in the Indian Premier League. Rohit Sharma has stated that Dhoni who has led the Chennai-based franchise to four IPL titles is still fit enough to continue playing in the tournament. Rohit’s remarks suggest that Dhoni’s future in the IPL remains uncertain and that he may continue to play some more seasons.

While speaking at a press conference of Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma said, “I don’t know if it’s his last season. I have been hearing this for the last 2-3 years. He is fit enough. He is still playing. He will continue to play.”

MS Dhoni is one of the most successful captains in the history of the IPL and he has led the Chennai Super Kings to four titles. In an interview in 2021, the 41-year-old had expressed that he wants to retire after playing his final game in front of his home crowd at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
