Team India is all set to face England for the final time in the series in Dharamshala starting on March 7. The hosts have already won the series and are leading the five-match series 3-1.
However, ahead of the fifth test match, India is going to miss the services of Kl Rahul, who continues to recover from injury. Team India’s star middle-order batter suffered a quadriceps injury and has not fully recovered from it.
Recently, as per reports, KL Rahul visited London to see a therapist for the treatment of the injury; however, it is said that the star batter has returned to India and will get a return-to-play certificate from the NCA anytime soon.
Which means KL Rahul is all set to make his comeback in the upcoming season of the IPL. Kl Rahul’s performance will be closely monitored in the IPL as he is in line for selection as a wicketkeeping batsman for team India in the upcoming Twenty20 World Cup.
Kl Rahul was ruled out in the previous edition of the IPL as well due to an injury, which forced him to be out of action for at least six months.
KL Rahul will lead the Lucknow Super Giants in the upcoming IPL season.
The Lucknow-based franchise will begin its campaign on March 24 against the Rajasthan Royals.
