Team India’s wrist spinner, kuldeep Yadav, has been in the buzz after his impressive performances with both bat and ball in the fourth test match of the series against England in Ranchi.
The young cricketer stretched a 76-run partnership alongside Dhurv Jurel, contributing 22 runs with the bat, to bring India back in the hunt.
On the other hand, the crafty leg spinner also picked up four wickets in the second inning, bundling England for just 145 runs on board. Kuldeep and Ashwin picked up 9 out of 10 wickets in the second innings against England.
Impressed with Kuldeep’s bowling, one of the prominent faces of cricket, Michael Vaughan, was all praise for the young leg spinner, comparing him with the magician Shane Warne.
“The best compliment I can give @imkuldeep18.. Today he has bowled like a left-armed Shane Warne,” Vaughan wrote in one of his tweets praising the India spinner.
Michael Vaughan wrote another tweet saying, He (Warne) absolutely would have loved how Kuldeep bowled today.”
Team India is currently in a driver’s seat to win the test match as well as the series. Rohit Sharma and Company are currently leading the series by 2-1, with the final test match of the series set to be played in Dharamshala on March 7.
