Now it’s more than a rumor that team India star batter KL Rahul and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty will tie their marriage knot on Wednesday, January 23 in Khandala. The sources say that the apartment where the marriage will take place belongs to Sunil Shetty.
KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty are planning to host a lavish wedding celebration just after the IPL. Videos of Athiya and Rahul’s homes have been making some serious sounds on social media for a while now. KL Rahul’s residence has been decorated and lit up with lights, indicating a wedding. Due to family commitments, Rahul has also chosen to take a break from the ongoing India-New Zealand series.
A source clarifies,“Videos and pictures of decorations around a Bandra building are being shared attributing it to the couple’s wedding celebrations. That’s not even where they live. That’s for a different wedding.”
There are rumors that there may be a major wedding celebration when the IPL ends at the end of May because the majority of the Indian cricket team’s friends and players are occupied with the current home season.
One of KL Rahul’s friends talked to the media and said,“Given the hectic cricket schedules, a wedding bash has been planned for the film industry and cricket bigwigs after the IPL wraps up in May. While the wedding is on January 23, guests are slated to arrive from January 21 onwards. Since the media got the whiff of the wedding ahead of a formal announcement, special arrangements are in place for the paparazzi at the venue, we hear.”
KL Rahul will be participating in the much-awaited Border-Gavaskar trophy against Australia, the Mangalore-born cricketer will be back in action in no time. Indian supporters will be hoping that he regains his form in tests and can once again play a significant role in the test team. He has been named the vice-captain for the four-match test series.
