During the 24th IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bollywood actress and the wife of star batter Virat Kohli came to support the team. Anushka is a renowned personality and the camera focused on her multiple times throughout the match and many of her clips were shared on social media.
Meanwhile, the grand welcome of Mahendra Singh Dhoni at Chinnaswamy Stadium left the Bollywood actress in awe. A clip of Anushka Sharma’s reaction is becoming widely popular on social media and generating a lot of buzz among fans.
The incident occurred when only two balls were left in the Chennai Super Kings’ innings, and the crowd at Chinnaswamy Stadium erupted in cheers as the opposition captain, MS Dhoni, came to crease. In the viral video, Anushka Sharma can be seen smiling and saying to the people sitting beside her, “they love him”, depicting the warm reception Dhoni received from the fans.
Dhoni managed to got just one run with one ball and CSK posted a mammoth 226 runs at the loss of 6 wickets.
While chasing the target of 227 runs, RCB got a good pace after losing Virat Kohli at a very early stage as Maxwell And Faf Du Plessis kept accelerating throught the inning. Despite blistering fifties from both the batters, RCB lost the match by eight runs.
