Watch Video- “Surya Ke Batting Coach Hai Hum Aur…”, Chahal Hilarious Conversation With Kuldeep Yadav

The ongoing three-match series between India and the Dasun Shanaka-led team was won by India by a margin of four wickets on Thursday, January 12. To win the match, the Men in Blue needed to chase down the 216-run total in 43.2 overs while losing six wickets. Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj each took three wickets for the hosts, who also had three opposition batters removed. Kuldeep was named Player of the Match for his outstanding performance in the second game. Yuzvendra Chahal, who missed the second game because of an injured right shoulder, was afterward approached by him.

Kuldeep said, “I would like to thank you for your suggestions. You played the entire T20I series and the previous one-dayer as well. I was coming into white-ball cricket straight from a Test match. You gave inputs. Since you were playing so much with the boys, you had an idea of how to bowl, so thank you for it.”

He added, “These small inputs are very important. Of course, we are not playing together so much on the field these days, but the outside inputs I get from you are also very helpful.”

Chahal, who was flattered by Kuldeep’s praise, responded amusingly by joking that in addition to being Kuldeep’s bowling coach, he is also Suryakumar Yadav’s batting coach.

Chahal said cheekily, “Surya ke to hum batting coach hain, ab Kuldeep Yadav ke bhi bowling coach ban gaye. Yeh note kar lijiye. (I am already Surya’s batting coach; now I am Kuldeep Yadav’s bowling coach too. Note this.)”

Here’s the hilarious interaction:

Surya, who sat out the first two ODI games, has been in outstanding form in the game’s shortest format. In the series-clinching game against Sri Lanka last week, he struck 112 not out from 51 balls after reaching fifty in the second T20I.
