In the 22nd match of IPL 2023 between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Mumbai Indians’ captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and chose to bowl first. Kolkata Knight Riders led by Nitish Rana had a good start to their innings thanks to Venkatesh Iyer’s brilliant hundred.The match went through different emotions. On one hand, Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar made his IPL debut and on another side, the fans saw banter between KKR captain Nitish Rana and Mumbai Indians all-rounder Hrithik Shokeen.
The incident happened in the 9th over of the innings, when KKR captain Hrithik Shokeen got dismissed by Hrithik on the very first ball of the over. The captain of KKR was caught out at long-on and was leaving the field to go back to the team’s dugout.While Rana was going back to the dugout, it appeared that Shokeen said something which irritated the KKR captain.
Rana responded and was about to rush towards Shokeen when Suryakumar Yadav intervened to prevent any further tussle. Seeing the situation, the Mumbai Indians captain separated both the players, and finally the heated conversation went cool.

Apart from Iyer, none of the KKR batters impressed anyone with their batting, and the team was struggling at 73/3 when Venkatesh Iyer started accelerating against the Mumbai Indians bowlers. At the end of 20 overs, KKR scored 185 runs at the loss of six wickets.
