Watch: Sarfaraz Khan’s Exit After Mix-Up Leaves Rohit Sharma Disgusted

Team India is currently playing against England for the third time in a five-match test series in Rajkot. However, before the start of the match, one of the most consistent batters in the domestic circuit, Sarfraz Khan, was finally handed his test debut cap by Anil Kumble to make his first international appearance.

The Sarfraz Khan family was overjoyed to see him make his debut for India on the international stage. On the other hand, Sarfraz Khan made full use of the opportunity and faith shown to him by the captain and team management, as he made 62 of the 66 deliveries, which included nine boundaries and one six.

Sarfraz Khan looked completely set to make his test debut a memorable one for him as well as his family, but was unfortunately run out on the score of 62 after a mix-up with Ravindra Jadeja.

The incident took place in the over of James Anderson while Jadeja was batting 99.. He played a shot towards midfield and called for a single.

However, England’s Mark Wood reached on the ball quickly, seeing that Jadeja denied the call, but then it was too late for Sarfaraz to get back in the crease.

Sarfraz Khan looked completely disappointed after the incident, and not only Sarfaraz, but Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was also seen throwing his cap in frustration.

As far as the match is concerned, team India scored 326 runs on the opening day of the third test match for a loss of five wickets. Ravindra Jadeja (110) and Kuldeep Yadav (1) will take things forward for Team India on day two.

For England, it was Mark Wood who was the star with the ball, as he picked up three wickets in the opening day, giving away just 69 runs in his 17 overs.
