Following India’s loss in the World Test Championship final, cricketer Virat Kohli is taking some well-deserved time off with his family. With India’s next assignment scheduled for July in the West Indies, the players have been granted a month-long break to rejuvenate themselves. Like any other cricketer, Kohli values quality time with his loved ones during these non-cricketing days. In the meantime, he has been sharing inspirational quotes on social media, reflecting his determination to bounce back from recent defeats.
After the conclusion of the World Test Championship final, Virat Kohli and his teammates have been allowed to recharge and refocus before their upcoming series in the West Indies. Kohli is making the most of this break by spending time with his family and engaging in activities outside of cricket. He has been sharing motivational quotes through his social media accounts, indicating his resilience and positive mindset despite the recent loss.
Kohli recently shared a picture of himself on the London Tube, captured reading a newspaper. The caption accompanying the photo humorously read, “When in the tube.”
This suggests that Kohli was enjoying his downtime in London after the World Test Championship final, which ended in a massive defeat for Team India. Despite the disappointment, India will have another opportunity to vie for an ICC title in the upcoming 50-over World Cup, led by Rohit Sharma.
