Originally from Karachi, Pakistan, Shayan Jahangir had represented Pakistan’s Under-19 cricket team. However, he did not receive an opportunity to play for the senior team. Subsequently, he shifted to the United States, where he continued his cricketing career. Jahangir’s talent also earned him a place in the Caribbean Premier League, further showcasing his abilities on the global stage.
“Play against Virat Kohli man! That’s my ultimate goal to play against him and show him that there is another… I wouldn’t say king but another batter on the block waiting to get all the opportunities in the world, play all these big leagues and show what I am capable of doing”, said the 28-year-old USA batter who has played nine ODI’s.
