Virat Kohli And Siraj Made Big Jump In The ICC Men’s Rankings

Indian Team clinch the three-match ODI match series against Sri Lanka by 3-0 at home. Former Indian Skipper Virat Kohli and veteran pacer Mohammad Siraj played a key role in winning the Indian Team. Virat Kohli was awarded the “player of the series” for his outstanding performance.

Both the players have risen in the ICC Men’s ODI rankings; Kohli has risen to the fourth spot in the batters list; however, Siraj has risen to the third place in the bowler’s list, making the jump from 18th place.

Virat was the leading run-scorer in the ODI series against Sri Lanka, including two centuries. While Siraj has bagged nine wickets, he was the leading wicket-taker in the previous series.

Virat now has 750 ratings and is on the fourth spot of the ICC Men’s ODI Bating Ranking. Pakistani skipper Babar Azam is on the top with an 887 rating; South African batter Rassie van der Dussen and Quinton de Kock is on the second and third spot with 766 and 759 ratings, respectively.

Mohammad Siraj is on the third position on the ICC Men’s ODI Bowling Rating with 685 ratings. Australian pacer Josh Hazelwood is in the second spot with 727 points, and New Zealand’s speedster Trent Boult is on the first spot with 730 ratings in this list.

India is all set to play 3 ODI and 3 T20I match series against New Zealand in the home starting from 18th January in Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
