Video- Virat Kohli Shocked and Impressed By Santer’s Jaffa delivery, Dismissed For 8

On Wednesday in Hyderabad, India is taking on New Zealand in the first ODI of a three-match series. The home team chose to bat first after winning the toss. Ishan Kishan is playing in his first ODI since his double-century against Bangladesh, and Rohit Sharma has already announced that he has been added to the playing XI. KL Rahul was replaced by Ishan in the starting XI.

Opening pair Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill contributed 60 runs for the first wicket, giving India a strong start. Virat Kohli joined Gill in the middle after Rohit was out, and he appeared to be in contact the entire time.

A delivery from Mitchell Santner castled Kohli’s stumps for a score of 8, and the former captain was left speechless as a result of a minor error in judgment on Kohli’s part. The slight spin on that delivery fooled the right-handed batsman, who was unable to determine the length of the ball. Kohli was surprised as the ball made contact with the stumps.

Virat Kohli’s attitude to his firing was self-evident, and he offered no commentary on Santner’s valiant actions. After 15.2 overs, India was 2 down for 88 after Kohli’s dismissal. During his time in the middle, Kohli appeared to be in charge and was anticipated to play a significant knock. But despite a strong start, he fell short of a significant score.

Here’s the video:

After being let go, Ishan joined Gill in the center. The left-handed batsman, though, didn’t stay on the crease for very long before leaving for 5 off 14 balls. Team India’s ship has been stabilized by opener Gill and Suryakumar Yadav, as the Men in Blue have passed the 150-run threshold. Gill, who previously played in an ODI and got a century, is getting close to another hundred.
