Former RCB Player Arrested For kidnapping In Maharashtra’s Aurangabad

A cryptocurrency investment manager made a complaint on January 17 regarding the kidnapping, extortion, and violence on 20 persons, including Vijay Zol, the former captain of the India U19 cricket team.

Vijay Zol and his brother Vikram Zol were detained under the provisions of the Indian Arms Act. Earlier on Tuesday, a man filed a lawsuit against the investment manager, accusing him of indulging in a criminal conspiracy and cheating multiple investors out of several lakhs of rupees.

Speaking on the matter with Times of India, Akash Shinde, Superintendent of Police, at Jalna Police station said, “We have registered two FIRs based on the complaints from both sides. We are verifying all claims and allegations mentioned in the FIRs and will take appropriate action.”

The Times of India also got in touch with Vijay and Vikram’s father to find out more about the incident and get their perspective on the allegations against their two sons.

Bhausaheb Zol is a senior criminal lawyer who claimed, “My sons may have invested in the firm of the cryptocurrency investment manager but blaming them for kidnapping and extortion is wrong.”

Vijay and Vikram are charged with travelling to Pune with the other suspects, breaking into the investment manager’s residence, and beating him up for ten days at an Aurangabad(MH) city hotel. They then imprisoned him at their residence in Jalna.

Let us tell you that Vijay has also played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2014.
