VIDEO: Nicholas Pooran Smashes 106 Meter Six, Fans Erupted With Joy

In the 14th match of the IPL 2024, Lucknow Super Giants is facing Royal Challengers Bengaluru at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. In this match, Royal Challengers’ captain Faf du Plessis won the toss and elected to bowl first. While batting in the first innings of the match, Lucknow Super Giants posted a total of 181 runs at the loss of five wickets.

For Lucknow Super Giants, wicket-keeper batter Quinton de Kock smashed the highest 81 runs for the team in just 56 balls. It includes eight fours and five sixes. They informed Nicholas Pooran once again showed his hard-hitting abilities in Bengaluru and played a sensible knock of 40 runs in 21 balls, which included one four and five sixes.

However, the highlight of Pooran’s inning was his 106 M six which he bashed against England fast bowler Reece Topley in the 19th over of Lucknow’s innings. The ball was delivered short to Pooran and he banged it outside the boundary rope for a humongous six. Venkatesh Iyer, the batting all-rounder of Kolkata Knight Riders has the same distance of six in this edition of the tournament.

For RCB, Glenn Maxwell got two wickets while Mohammed Siraj, Reece Topeay, and Yash Dayal managed to get one wicket each.
