Recently, Ishan Kishan refused to put down his signature next to Dhoni’s signature on a fan’s mobile phone, and this gesture of Kishan has won the hearts of many Thala fans.
At the moment, Ishan Kishan is playing for Jharkhand in the ongoing Ranji Trophy season 2022-2023. The batter got a solid hundred against Kerala but his ton went in vain as Jharkhand lost the game against the competitors. In this loss, Kishan got 135 runs in 195 balls in the first innings of the match.
A video has gone Viral on the internet where a fan asked Ishan Kishan to get his signature done on his cellphone. However, when Ishan noticed that the former Indian captain MS Dhoni already had his signature there, the young wicket-keeper told him he could not sign overlapping or above Dhoni’s signature. When the fan again requested a sign, the cricketer told him he would sign it but below the place where captain cool had his signature.
In the Video, Ishan Kishan was heard saying,”Mahi bhai ka hai signature hai, aur uspe upar bol rahe hain mera karne. Mereko thoda ho nai raha hai. Ek kaam karo, phone pe kyu karna hai? Mai kisi aur achi cheez pe kar deta hu sign.”
After the request from the fan, Ishan Kishan replied,”Saath me rahega but Mahi Bhai ke signature ke saath mai kya karun? Mahi Bhai ka signature hai yaar, uske upar mai kahan se ghus jaun? Hum log abhi ham utna pahuchne nahi hai wahan par. Neeche karta hoon (It will be together but how can I sign next to his signature? There is Mahi bhai’s signature, how can I sign above it?
