Viacom 18 have won the bid for the media right of the Women’s IPL. This bid has been bagged by Viacom 18 for the inaugural season to the five-year cycle.
The Board of the Cricket Control (BCCI) secretary gave this information from his Twitter handle. The winning bid was INR 951 crore which translates to a value of INR 7.09 crore per match for the 2023-27 period.
Network 18 also owned the digital media rights of men’s IPL for the same cycle and provided the ongoing SAT20 League in South Africa.
