A domestic court in Mumbai has asked police to take action on the complaint of influencer Sapna Gill, who’s accused Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw of molestation.
However, the court has dismissed Spain’s request to take action against the police for not registering her complaint against the Delhi Capitals opener.
The magistrate has ordered the police to submit their report by the 19th of this month.
It’s known that Spana Gill has accused Prithivi Shaw of molesting her in a pub in Andheri.
The social media influencer is currently out on bail and was taken into police custody after attacking the Mumbai cricketer.
After getting bail, Sapna Gill went to the Andheri police station to file a complaint against Privi Shaw and his friend. After her father was not registered by the police She then went to megistrate court.
In her complaint against Prithvi Shaw and his friend Ashish Yadav Sapna, she tried to get Fir registered under IPC sections 509 (word, gesture, or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman), 354 (molestation), and 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means).
After Sapna’s compliant police had earlier mentioned in the report that there was no evidence that Shaw had molested the girl.
In the CCTV footage, it was seen that Sapna broke the glass of Shaw’s car and even chased the car with a baseball in her hand.
