Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been out of action for nearly six months. He played his last match in September 2022 against Australia. Fans hoped that Bumrah would make his comeback in IPL and feature in the WTC final for the Indian team.
But now a report stated that Bumrah would also miss both upcoming events and need more time to recover from the injury. After this report, fans started reacting strangely and also announced his replacement on social media platforms.
According to Cricbuzz, Bumrah is still uncomfortable and is looking for a long break. Also, this report added that his presence in the Asia cup is also unpredictable because the Indian team is looking for him in the ODI World Cup.
Earlier, Bumrah was named in the squad for the limited-over match against Sri Lanka, but later his NCA and BCCI decided to pull over his name because of some fitness issues. Without him, currently, the Indian team is playing the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and leading the series by 2-0.
It is not decided when Bumrah will return to the Indian team. And in the upcoming days, the Indian team has to play a prestigious tournament like; World test Championship, Asia Cup, and ODI World Cup this year. So, the Indian team will need an experienced pacer like him in these tournaments; otherwise, it will be tough for the blue men.
