Former Pakistani Pacer Shoaib Akhtar Named The Replacement Of Babar Azam As Future Skipper

Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar has backed all-rounder Shadab Khan to replace Babar Azam as the captain of the national team in the future. Akhtar praised that the young all-rounder has his own motivation to improve himself and has worked on his language and communication. Earlier, former fast bowler Shoaib urged Babar to improve his speaking skills.

Shoaib Akhtar lauded Shadab Khan and said he worked hard on his cricketing skills. In the future, he will be a good choice as the skipper of the Pakistan team.

“Shadab is very smart when it comes to cricket skills. He is always looking to improve, which is a great thing. He is ready to admit his mistakes and rectify them. Shadab has worked hard on his bowling in the last two years. Along with this, his fitness has also improved. He wants to look good and speak well. In the times to come, he can prove to be a perfect choice for captaincy for Pakistan in white ball cricket.” Akhtar said in an interview with a media house.

Shadab is the skipper Islamabad franchise in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and has impressed many cricket experts and fans with his leadership skills. He has also served as Babar Azam’s deputy in the Pakistan cricket team.

Akhtar further added that Shadab has great leadership skills, which we have already witnessed in Pakistan Super League, and hopefully, his team will win the eighth season of PSL.

“Shadab is a great captain and the future of Pakistan cricket. Shadab is an aggressive captain with a balanced side, a great batting line-up, and a great attitude. Shadab and Azhar Mahmood (coach) are great together and can win the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League.” Akhtar further added.
