Team India’s fast bowling has been one of the major and most highlighted concerns for Team India before the T20 World Cup. From the Asia Cup 2022 to the 3-match T20I series against Australia, the bowling at death overs has given some setbacks for Indian Cricket Team.
In all these discussions, Indian cricket fans are missing the duties of veteran Indian pacer Mohammed Shami who is added to the T20 World Cup squad but as a reserve. With the likes of Harshal and Bhuvneshwar, team India is not looking settled and fans are finding a way how Shami can be incorporated into the team.
All the nations participating in the T20 World Cup 2022 have announced the squads for this upcoming mega event. However, there is still a chance that teams can swap players or can do changes in their squad but before October 9, does not matter if the player to be replaced is suffering from an injury or not. Also, if the teams have crossed their deadline, there is still room for changes in the squad, and for that, the cricket board of that particular nation needs to seek permission from ICC.
Fans and cricket experts are continuously backing Shami and they are not happy with the recent performances of Team India. Shami is currently under recovery as he tested positive for Covid-19 before the start of the 3-match T20I series against Australia.
Team India will play its first match against Pakistan on October 23 at Melbourne Cricket Ground.
