“This is a great opportunity for us……” Craige Ervin Showed His Excitement Ahead Of Important Encounter Against Indian Team

India and Zimbabwe will play their last Super 12 match against each other on Sunday at Melbourne Cricket Stadium. However, Men in blue are table toppers and most probably they will reach in the semis without any serious calculation. But the Minnow Zimbabwe players fully excited and they wanted to finish their last match of the T20 World Cup 2022 with a win.

The day before the important encounter, Zimbabwean skipper Craige Ervine spoke about the excitement of his players. He stated that we are very excited to play against the mighty Indian. Our bowlers are in full enthusiasm to bowl in front of World class players.

“I think with the win against Pakistan, it’s given us a huge amount of confidence that we can beat any side in the tournament. I don’t think that will change going into tomorrow’s game,”

This is a great opportunity to bowl against some of the best guys in the world, so there’s no reason why guys would not want to actually get out there and produce the goods. How often do you get the opportunity to put Virat Kohli in your pocket? I’m pretty sure that our fast bowlers will be eagerly waiting for tomorrow’s match,” Ervine said.

However, Zimbabwe is already out of the race from the semis but they want to end their tournament with a win. If this will happen then the path of the men in blue to the semis will be in danger. While Rohit & Co. will be looking to make a serious change in their playing XI in the match against Zimbabwe.
Earlier, they lost against Bangladesh in a close encounter. He stated that he was disappointed because at one point in the match he felt his team will make it.

“Yeah, look, the loss to Bangladesh was very disappointing, especially to come so close, and I think more from the position that we were in. We pretty much looked out of the game, and then Sean Williams and Ryan Burl almost got us over the line. Then the no-ball on that last over, having to come back out into the field, you sort of sit back and think, well, maybe we’re destined to win,” Ervine said.
