Team India is going to face England in the third test match of the ongoing five-match series between the two sides.
However, ahead of the third match between the two sides, the talk of the town has been team India’s star batsman Virat Kohli’s absence from the entire five-match test series against England.
Most of the cricket players have spoken in favor of Virat Kohli, who took a break from international cricket due to some personal reasons. England pace bowler Stuart Broad also spoke about the same.
England’s pace bowler believes that India and England facing each other is a competitive series throughout, as seen in the first two test matches of the five-match test series.
Broad feels that with Virat Kohli not in the team, it’s a golden opportunity for England.
However, he also shared his opinion that with Virat missing out on this series, it also opens the door for a lot of youngsters to make a name for themselves at the international level.
Broad went all praise for Kohli as he said that Virat is a very competitive cricketer and his presence adds value to any matches, and his battle against Jimmy has been quite interesting to watch; however, due to his absence, this battle will not be seen in this series.
Braod said that Virat brings aggression, passion, and fire to the game, but “personal matters always take preference over cricket.”
Team India is going to face England for the third test match of the series, starting on February 15 in Rajkot.
