‘The Fab 4 Doesn’t Exist Any Longer As Virat Kohli…’, Aakash Chopra On Degrading Form Of Virat Kohli

Former Indian Cricketer and one of the most renowned cricketers Aakash Chopra has given a massive statement on Indian batting star Virat Kohli and Australian opener David Warner. He said that due to the degrading form of Kohli and Warnet as Test cricketers, there is no more ‘Fab 4’ and now we can only see ‘Fab 3’ there.

Both these players have not performed up to the mark since 2020 and this has harmed their stature in the longest format of the game. Kohli, Steve Smith, Joe Root, and Kane Williamson are known as the ‘Fab Four’ due to their outstanding performance in Test cricket during today’s cricket. While the other three have consistently performed for their team, Virat Kohli has struggled a lot with his form.

While talking to his youtube Channel, Aakash Chopra said that the Fab 4 does not exist now. He said, “Virat Kohli, Joe Root, Steve Smith, and Kane Williamson were a sure shot ‘Fab Four’ at one point. In fact, even David Warner’s name was present on that list. We are talking about Test cricket. We are talking about the period between 2014 and 2019. But we don’t have a ‘Fab Four’ now, only a ‘Fab Three’.”

Aakash Chopra notified that Kohli was going through an excellent form in between 2014 and 2019. He explained, “If we talk about Virat Kohli’s performances between 2014 and 2019, he played 62 matches and scored 5695 runs at an average of 58.71 with the help of 22 centuries. Kohli was unstoppable. There was a home season where he scored four double-centuries. He was absolutely brilliant.”
