Team India’s star all-rounder, Hardik Pandya, has finally returned to competitive cricket after a long time. The all-rounder was last seen in the 2023 World Cup, which was played in India.
Hardik Pandaya was the captain of the Reliance 1 team in the opening encounter of the tournament. Hardik Pandaya not only played this match but also opened the bowling for his side.
In three overs, Hardik Pandaya gave up 22 runs and picked up two wickets, restricting the opponents to just 126 in their 20 overs. However, Hardik Pandya came out to bat late in the innings, as the all-rounder scored only three runs with his team chasing down the target in just 15 overs.
Apart from Hardik, a lot of players from the Mumbai Indians, like Nehal Wadhera, Tilak Verma, and Piyush Chawala, also played in this match.
As far as Hardik’s pandya concern, the all-rounder is definitely going to play in the upcoming T-20 World Cup, with Rohit Sharma leading the side in the mega showpiece event. However, Hardik Pandya will be leading the Mumbai Indians, where he will replace Rohit Sharma as the skipper.
