Terrible Incident Happened In Melbourne Test, Bowler Collided With Spider-Cam

Currently, the South African team is on tour to Australia to play three test match series against the host. The Kangaroos have sealed the first and second test matches of the series. And now the third and last match of the series will start on 4th January 2023.

A painful accident happened in the second test match between Proteas and Kangaroos; the spider cam collided with South African pacer Anrich Nortje on the second day of the match. This incident happened between the two; thus, it wasn’t broadcast on live TV. When South African fast bowler Anrich Nortje was going to the fielding place, Spider Cam collided with him, causing him to fall to the ground.

Commentator James Brayshaw said, “South African fast bowler Anrich Nortje was quietly going to his place, and this incident happened. This should not happen.”

Looking at the test match, Australia’s opener batter David Warner again showed his brilliance, scoring a brilliant double century in his 100th Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in the first innings. With this double hundred, he became the second batter after Joe Root of England to do this miracle in the 100th test match. Warner became the 10th batsman to score a century in his 100th Boxing Day Test, becoming the second Australian batter on this famous list.

The excellent batting of David Warner, Steve Smith, and Alex Carey at the Melbourne Cricket Ground helped the Australian team to set a huge total on the board. Cameroon’s five-wicket haul restricted the visitors to 189 runs, and the Australian team won the clash by 182 runs and an innings.

David Warner was awarded as the player of the match, who scored 200 off 254 balls, hitting 16 fours and two sixes before retiring hurt, exhausted by the hot conditions at the MCG.
