ICC Picks Nominees For The T20I Cricketer Of The Year, One Indian Makes Into The List

ICC has announced its nominees for the ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the year 2022. This prize is given to that player who has performed brilliantly either with bat or ball. This year’s T20 World Cup was also there and it gave a passage to the members of the ICC Committee to examine the performance of the players more smartly.

The first Nominee on the list is Indian star middle-order batter, Suryakumar Yadav. Suryakumar Yadav has shown a path to people how to play the T20s. In the 31 innings, he scored 1164 runs at an average of 46.54. Meanwhile, the batsman managed to get 2 hundred and 9 fifties which made him different from the other batters.

Zimbabwean all-rounder Sikandar Raza is second on this list. He has played 24 T20Is for his country this year where he managed to get 735 runs with five fifties in his hand. In bowling as well he showed some good curves and grabbed 25 wickets at an economy of 6.14.

England’s young all-rounder Sam Curran who was also picked as the man of the tournament in the 2022 ICC Men’s T20I World Cup is now among the nominees for the best T20I cricketer of the year. Curran has played 19 matches this year in which he has scored 67 runs but when it comes to bowling he has a solid graph. This year Curran has clinched 25 wickets for England where his best was 5/10.

The last on this list is Pak star wicket-keeper batter, Mohammed Rizwan. Rizwan is the second most successful batter in T20Is after Suryakumar Yadav this year. This year the wicketkeeper has played 25 matches in which he has scored 996 runs with the help of 10 fifties.
