KKR’s treasure Mitchell Starc has finally arrived in IPL 2024!! . Mitchell Starc picked up a couple of wickets against the Delhi Capitals. Mitch Starc was earlier wicketless in the first couple of matches.
Starc admitted that T-20 can be brutal sometimes and that it requires a lot of luck. KKR have registered their third victory of the season, beating the Delhi Capitals by 106 runs.
Starc He said that there were not many adjustments that he made after going wicketless in a couple of matches. Starc further stated that there is no pressure to perform because of the price tag.
In his post-match presentation, Starc said, “I’m not changing too much. In T20s, you get some dropped chances and some edges, and they don’t go your way. But we are 3-0, and that’s what it is all about. biggest price tag. (I struggled with wickets early on.) Nothing really like I said before. Games come thick and fast. It is T20 cricket; it can get brutal. You take a bit of luck here and there.”
Starc picked up wickets from Mitchell Marsh and David Warner, helping his team beat Delhi. However, Starc is also quite happy with the way KKR has performed in the first three matches.
Speaking about the same, Starc said, “We are 3-0 and have been clinical with the bat, so personal things aside, the team is going fantastic. Nice to have Marsh and Warner in the pocket.”
The veteran also praised his bowling partner, Vaibhav Arora, who picked up three wickets.
Speaking about Vaibhav, Starc said, “Another way to win. (Vaibhav Arora and the short ball) That is all him. He was fantastic, using the short ball really well. We talk more in training and in bowling meetings. Just talking about that side of things. They may have questions; we have little conversations, certainly not me telling them what to do.”
