Star Australian Pacer Ruled Out Of From The ODI Series Against India, Doubtful For IPL 2023

After suffering a hamstring strain in his first grade game back after the initial injury occurred during the BBL, Jhye Richardson has been ruled out of Australia’s ODI tour of India and his IPL stint with Mumbai Indians is also doubtful.

Richardson has been replaced by Nathan Ellis, who has appeared in three ODIs for Australia.

Richardson has been out of the cricket due to his hamstring injury which he got on January 4. After a medical assessment it was known that he might make his come soon and join his BBL team for the Final but it did not happen and it took almost two months for him to return to the ground. Firstly the bowler missed the Final game for his team Perth Scorchers then Marsh Cup.

However, Jhye Richardson was the part of Australian squad touring India but since he is not fully fit Nathan Ellis has got his place.

The first match of the ODI series will be played in Wankhede on 17 March.
