Sourav Ganguly Provided Big Update On Rishabh Pant For IPL 2023 Availablity

Former Indian skipper and BCCI president Sourav Ganguly, recently appointed as the director of Delhi Capitals (Indian Premier League Franchise), provided a big update on injured Rishabh Pant. Regarding the availability of the Pant for IPL 2023, Ganguly explained that he would not be available for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.

“Rishabh Pant will not be available for the IPL. I am in connection with Delhi Capitals. It will be a great IPL (for the team), we will do well, but Rishabh Pant’s injury will affect the Delhi Capitals,” said Ganguly.

Rishabh Pant is the skipper of the Delhi Capitals, who was badly injured in a car accident on 30th December 2022, after which he was admitted to the Max Dehradun. He was airlifted to Mumbai last week for further and better treatment of his ligament.

Pant’s treatment is going on in the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital. As per the reports, Rishabh Pant’s ligament surgery was successful, and his recovery process is really, and according to doctors, he must rest for 8-9 months to be fit.
According to the tweet BCCI, “Rishabh has two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, toe and has suffered abrasion injuries on his back.”

The main goal of the BCCI and Pant is to be fit before the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023, which is scheduled to be held in India later this year.

Now, the Delhi Capitals is looking for a player who can lead their team in the upcoming season of the IPL, and in this race, the name of the Australian veteran batter David Warner is on the top. Earlier, in the captaincy of Warner, Sunrisers Hyderabad had won the IPL title in 2016, and he has outstanding performance in his IPL career.
